Overview of Sony SNC-DH280
The Sony IPELA SNC-DH280 provides highly detailed video in scenes with demanding light conditions. 3-megapixel footage is produced by the camera, capturing over 9x more detail than a standard CCTV camera, as well as HD1080p video, with detailed HDTV-like footage at 30 frames per second. A day/night filter and infrared lighting are also integrated into the camera, allowing viewers to see color footage during the day and monochrome video at night, even with no external light sources.The camera also includes software designed to increase the camera's dynamic range, capturing detail in bright and shadowed areas simultaneously, such as ViewDR which combines two successive frames with different exposure times and Visibility Enhancer which adjusts the brightness of the image on a pixel-by-pixel bases. Additionally, the camera features a tough metal housing, with included heater, which is both IK10- and IP66-rated, offering protection from rain and vandalism.Installation of the camera is quick and easy, with Power over Ethernet (PoE) which combines data and power into a single cable for reduced wiring and analog video output for use with installation monitors. Additionally, the camera's easy focus and easy zoom features let installers quickly and accurately set the desired view at the touch of a button. Sony's Real Shot Manager Lite recording software is also included, recording video to a Windows PC without the need to purchase additional software.NOTE
