Overview of Sony SNC-DH260
Providing highly detailed video, the Sony IPELA SNC-DH260 is a rugged, outdoor IP camera, ideal for monitoring in outdoor public areas. The camera captures 3MP footage with up to 9x greater image detail than a standard IP security camera while producing HD1080P footage at speeds of up to 30fps. Integrated IR lighting and switchable day/night filter allow the camera to capture usable footage day and night, even with no external light sources.
The camera's IP66- and IK10-rated casing allows it to be installed in exposed locations without the risk of damage from weather conditions or vandalism, while the integrated heater protects the camera from damage in extremely low temperatures. Power over Ethernet simplifies camera wiring by supplying both data and power through the network cable, while the powered focus and zoom allow the installer to quickly and accurately set the desired view.
DEPA intelligent motion detection is available, minimizing falsely detected events by tracking the movement of objects, only triggering events when required. Included Sony Real Shot Manager Lite also means that video can be recorded to a Windows-based PC at no additional cost.
